Why authenticity matters in creative and educational contexts?
Authenticity is important and fundamental in creative and educational contexts because it allows our ideas, projects, and personal footprints to have true and unique value. For example, when a person creates something authentic, they are demonstrating technical skills and also the ability to think independently, to trust their imagination, and to contribute and create something that did not exist before in society. In education, working with authenticity prevents us from relying on other people's models and promotes analysis, reflection, and the ability to produce something original. This encourages deep and meaningful learning, as students don't just reproduce information but transform it into something of their own. In creative contexts, defending authenticity has an ethical meaning: recognizing the value of personal effort, avoiding plagiarism, and respecting the work of others. Authenticity becomes more important in a world where intelligence can generate thousands of images in a short time, as it shows the human touch, originality, and creativity. Creating with authenticity allows each of us to leave a personal mark and footprint and also to understand that the only truly unrepeatable things are those that are born from our own minds. Therefore, authenticity is not just an academic or artistic requirement, but a tool that strengthens overall development in both creativity and learning.

How does your creature represent originality?

My creature represents originality because it is combination of ideas that normally do not appear together in nature. For example,it is a whale, but it also has wings like an angel and small horns that make it look magical.I chose these details because I wanted my creature to feel friendly, special, and different from real animals.I did not want to copy anything exactly.Instead,I used my imagination to create something new that reflects my own style. The colors I chose also show originality, because the soft blue and white make the creature look calm and gentle.Even the little smile gives it personality. When I look at my creature,I feel that it shows my creativity, because it comes from a mix of ideas that I like.I think originality is not only about creating something strange, but about creating something that expresses who you are.My creature does that for me.It is unique because I designed it with my own imagination, and no one else would create the exact same character. That is why I feel it represents originality in a simple and personal way.

What did you learn about recognizing uniqueness?

This activity taught me many things about recognizing uniqueness. Before,I used to think that being unique meant making something very different or complicated. But now I understand that uniqueness can be something small, simple, and personal. It can come from the choices I make, like the colors I use,the shapes I prefer,or the emotions I want to express.I learned that every person sees the world in a different way,and that makes their work special.Even if two people try to make the same project,it will never look exactly the same, because each person adds their own style.I realized that uniqueness does not require perfection. It requires honesty. When we allow ourselves to create freely, without worrying too much about other´s opinios, our true uniqueness appears naturally.I also learned to appreciate the small details that make something different, like a smile,a textura,or a special idea. Now I can understand that recognizing uniqueness is about paying attention to what makes each creation special. This activity helped me see that everyone has something unique to share, even if it is simple. That makes me feel more confident and motivated to keep creating.

How do different versions (AI-generated) show variation while keeping a core identity?

The different AI-generated versions of my creature helped me understand how something can change a lot while still keeping its identity. Each versión had a different style, like 2D,3D,anime,cartoon and realistic. These styles changed the way the creature looked, the textures, the shadows, and the feeling of the image. For example, the 2D versión looked simple and flat, while the 3D versión looked more detailed and shiny. The anime style made the creature look cute, and the cartoon style made it look more funny and playful.Even with all these changes, the creature was still the same.It always kept the main elements that make it “my creature”,like the wings, the horns, the whale shape, and the soft colors. This showed me that identity comes from the important features, nor from the style.I learned that variation is natural and can even make a creation more interesting. It was fun to see how the same character could look different but still be recognizable. This helped me understand that creativity includes many versions, and that identity stays strong when the essential parts stay the same.
